NITTE Celebration Mangalore 1/2 Marathon & 10K:
The 2nd event as part of the Celebration Series is planned in the city of Mangalore on 29th January2012, at the Panambur Beach as an exclusive event which has not been organized in the city before.
Features of NITTE Celebration Mangalore 1/2 Marathon & 10K:
- The Marathon will have 3 Categories :21kms Half Marathon, 10 Kms and 5 Kms Run open for every one who want to run for fun & be a part of the celebration. The event is open for runners who are 15yrs and above.
- The running route will cover some of the scenic locations near the Mangalore Port with the River Gurupura on one side of the track and in some places the Tannirbavi Beach can be seen close to the route.The route also has rich green vegetation on either.
- The runners will be provided with Water enroute and refreshments on finishing the race.
- Medical Facility will be provided enroute by the Medical Partners of the event. Doctors/Nursing staff along with Ambulance will be stationed at the Start/Finish line and also at various points enroute to provide medical care for the runners.
- The runners and the visitors will be entertained by Music Groups, Traditional Dance Groups at the Start/Finish line and also at various points enroute as the theme is on Celebration.
- The race will be conducted by professionals having vast experience in organizing marathons and other sporting events in the international arena.
Registration Fee:
- 21 KMs Half Marathon – Rs.750
- 10 KMs Run – Rs.550
- 5 KM Celebration Run – Rs.150 (Public)
- 5 KM Celebration Run (For Students and Senior Citizens: 61 Yrs and above) – Rs. 100

- Reporting time – 6.45 am [for everyone]
- 21.09 km – 07:00 am
- 10 km – 07:15 am
- 5 km – 07:30 am
